Fall is here

Fall is here and I think I´ve caught my first cold of the season, so I´ve spent the afternoon taking it easy and napping instead of working on my translation. Patrick turned on the heat in the living room yesterday, and I turned it on in the office today. I did manage to follow some of the progress in the yard, but not nearly as closely as the children across the street at the Kindergarden who were fascinated by the bulldozers moving dirt around and the men compacting the earth with a special machine (incredibly loud and jarring). I hope the men can start laying the coble stones for our walkways soon--I can´t wait for them to be finished.
